JA Audio for whole house audio

JA Audio for whole house audio

Mark, The JA Audio is a great choice for surround. Size wise take a look here at this FAQ. As for model suggestions take a look at this category for Home Theater Kits. The locations are best to worst in this order: 1. Fronts in the wall where the TV source is 2. Fronts in the ceiling across the front of the room (not really recommended but sometimes it's all you can do) 3. Rear speakers in the side walls behind the listening area 4. Rear speakers in the ceiling behind the listening area 5. Rear speakers in the back wall pointing forward Hope that helps.
Name : Mark Oki Message : Dear Folks At Inwall Audio/Video, My wife and I are currently in the process of a remodel and addition. Almost all of our walls and ceilings are either open, or we have some kind of access to them. We want to wire our house for sound - three bedrooms, family room, and living room. We are planning two speakers per room, except for the living room which we would like to set up for surround sound, for which we started with a Klipsch subwoofer we picked up at Costco. Our neighbor suggested that with the everything open, we can install all flush-mounted ceiling speakers throughout the house to reduce clutter and to get great sound. With that, I started my search for speakers online. I found your website and - although I`m a total novice when it comes to audio/video - I think your JAC8A 2-way speakers seem to have exceptional performance based on what I read and relative to comparable speakers. My question is, are ceiling-mounted speakers with swiveling tweeters the way to go for surround sound? Or might I better off installing wall-mounted speakers, and if so, what models would you reccomend? Also, please feel free to throw in any other reccomendations as I have a major case of Audiophile-deficiency. Thank you very much, Mark Oki
