Mounting in-ceiling speakers

Hal, That JA model uses binding posts to screw down on bare wire. No special tools or connectors are needed. All the speakers use a mounting system called 'dog ear mounting'. It's similar to that of an old work electrical box that you may have seen. Name : Hal Bland Message : The Audio 6.5 inch aluminum cone ceiling speakers, what style of connector do they take? I am interested in this model and will need 6pair. Also do they require special brackets for ceiling mount. I am remodeling, I rather just place the speakers in the ceiling cavity, hidden if possible and not mount them. Will they work the same and will I get the same sound effect?
