Nick, You could use a blank cover plate. Push the wires all the way up in, you'll be able to find the wires because you`ll be cutting a large hole to accommodate the speaker later anyway. Even if you`re going to use an on the wall type speaker, you could cut an outlet sized hole later and find the wire too.
Name : Nick Message : Previous owner of a house I`m buying had ceiling speaker wires installed, but no speakers. Wirings are hanging down. I won`t be ready to buy and install my own sound system for a year or so. How can I hide those wires into the ceiling in the meanwhile? Is there a small round plate of some type that would atttached to the wire end and then push against the ceiling and grab into it?
