Joe, To save money on installs like this, what you do is take the 8 to 10 volume controls (impedance matching) and put them in your control area in a homemade box that you make 8-10 gang long or mount them in a wall in that area in maybe two 4 gang boxes. You link them all together on the input side, set the impedance correctly for all and then the output side goes onto the speakers. But to answer your original question, no you can`t put two of them together on the same amp.
Name : Joe Message : Hello, I`m needing to add 8 to 10 in-ceiling speakers (dual voice-coil speakers) at my father`s dental practice. Instead of installing a volume control in each room (8 to 10 rooms), we thought we`d save some money and just use a speaker selector with volume controls in the back room. But, I saw on your website that you only sell speaker selectors w/ volume controls that accommodate up to 4 pairs (Phoenix Gold VSS-4 Dual Source 4 Pair Speaker Selector w/ Volume Controls). Would it be possible to purchase two of these units and wire both to the receiver? Maybe one two the A and one to the B hookups? I don`t want to put to much stress on the receiver and need your help. The background music will be played at very low levels in the office, but I understand that it is an Ohm issue. Thanks for your help! Joe
