Mike, The Channel Plus multi-zone amp is a good one that has been an easy to install/operate system. Just pick the type of keypad options that fit there. Speakers. We don`t do the rock speakers anymore but I'd suggest TIC brand. Take a look at the JA brand of speaker in their aluminum line here and here. The wire we sell is just the speaker wire. Over 100 ft. runs choose 14 ga.

I am also considering a-bus, but will probably go with multi channel amp for better power and discrete source for zones. Would need the following speakers - 2 (1 pair) outdoor -rocks, 2 Pair 8" ceiling, 1 pair 6" ceiling, and one pair for a dining room 14` x 20` either ceiling or wall mount.
